Greenwood Theatre Rigging Guide

• The senior members of KTC or the greenwood technician would teach you how to rig the fixtures in greenwood if you work on any show. So don’t worry if you don’t know anything about rigging, but below, here are some tips for your safety.
• Make sure that the fixtures are fully tightened to the bar and stable.
• Always put the safety cable between fixtures and bar whenever you rig the new fixtures or move the fixtures to somewhere else.
• Make sure that you always wear gloves when you touch the fixtures that have been turned on! Otherwise you can get burnt.
• Always tape down the cables to the bar or to the floor and keep them tidy.
• You may bring fly bars down to adjust lights, always wear a helmet on stage and be cautious of people walking near the bars.
