Tech Week Guide

  • PM/SMs should work together to make time plans and ‘shit lists’ for the following: it really helps give crew direction and they can then take initiative and get on with things
    • Get in
    • Tech days
    • Show days
    • Get out
  • Communicate with other heads of department - they will be lifesavers when you are busy and stressed
  • USE YOUR ASMS they are quite helpful, get them to make prop and set tracking lists and generally delegate as much as possible.
  • Communicate with fly operator, sound operator, and especially LX operator about cues - agree which things the operators want to be called. Finalise cues in your script and make sure you know your system.
