Programming Guide

  • For the greenwood shows, we use ETC EOS for programming the lights. If you’re new to programming, the senior members of KTC would love to teach you (seriously eos is my best friend) how to program on your laptop or how to use the board in the greenwood, you can just message the KTC Instagram to reach us. But before that, if you want to have a glance of what it looks like we recommend you to search up ETC on youtube, and watch their EOS family learning series. They provide detailed guides of EOS and it would help to build the basic knowledge of how the program works.

  • Very Brief explanation of how to programme- it’s extremely easy to programme a cue, select the lights from the magic sheet, use the slider to increase intensity and add colour for the LEDs then click record cue. Then add a label typically the line that signals the cue or the scene and location.
  • A few good tips: if you need to add a cue in between two others you can make decimal cues up to the three decimal places; if you have two identical cues you can copy cues, you can even copy a cue to a cue that doesn’t exist yet (eg. cue 1 copy to cue 5, will create a cue 5 or overwrite the existing one); and one more thing, if you are using movers, then make sure you set their position in the previous and following cues, otherwise the light will move for the audience, it looks ugly please don’t.
