How do I get started?

If you’re interested in the sound department and want to learn more, you can simply apply for a show! We recommend starting off applying for a sound operator position, as you’ll be working under a more experienced sound technician that can help you get accustomed quickly. The most important thing is to just give it a try, as it’s much easier to get into than it sounds!

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to clear up any questions that aren’t answered in this guidebook, you can always contact members of the department.
